Arizona

The 2018 NBA Draft is Thursday, and we all know Deandre Ayton is likely to become the first Wildcat to be the No. 1 pick in program history, but Bruce Pascoe details the four “other” Wildcats hoping to get drafted or earn Summer League spots – Rawle Alkins, Allonzo Trier, Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Dusan Ristic.

Oregon State

Trailing 6-3 heading into the eighth inning, Oregon State baseball roared back to eliminate North Carolina 11-6 and stay alive in Omaha. How about this stat provided to us by Ken Goe – Nick Madrigal, Cadyn Grenier, Trevor Larnach and Adley Rutschman went a combined 9 for 19 at the plate, while Rutschman homered and drove in four runs, three of which came on a bases-clearing double to even up the score at 6-6 in the eighth.

USC

Joey Kaufman details how former USC forward Chimezie Metu has been preparing for the NBA Draft, focusing on defense and effort. Metu figures to go somewhere in the second round.

UCLA

As far as the Trojans’ rivals go, Thuc Nhi Nguyen looks at where UCLA players might go in the NBA Draft. The headliner is Aaron Holiday, a likely first-round pick.

California

A big storyline surrounding the NBA offseason, outside of the draft, is where Kawhi Leonard will play next year after it became public knowledge that he reportedly wants out of San Antonio. ESPN’s Zach Lowe, one of the best NBA writers out there, ponders whether or not the Boston Celtics should put Jaylen Brown in a trade for Kawhi. Brown improved leaps and bounds in his second year in the NBA, and it appears as though the Golden Bear can be a real star in The Association.

Arizona State

Arizona State men’s basketball coach Bobby Hurley says the Sun Devils aren’t a “secret” anymore following their 2017-18 season that started off with a bang and ended in an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Colorado

Brian Howell features Colorado offensive lineman Tim Lynott, the guard/center who is on the mend back from a torn Achilles.

Utah

Utah women’s soccer released its 2018 schedule earlier this week, with their home opener on Aug. 17 against Minnesota being televised on Pac-12 Networks.
