Stanford

This is a fun read from ESPN.com: They polled 50 people from the world of college football and asked what they're most excited about now that we're 50 days away from kickoff. Several Pac-12 schools and Commissioner Larry Scott are represented here, but Stanford's Bryce Love is one of the first names you'll see.

Arizona State

On Monday I shared Doug Haller's story about hiking with ASU men's basketball coach Bobby Hurley. We're back for more today with part deux of Haller's and Hurley's Big Adventure. (This will be an award-winning film one day.)

California

Four Cal men's rowers and three recent grads are competing in the World Rowing Cup III in Switzerland this week. CalBears.com breaks down who will be doing what and when.

Washington

Quite a few Huskies will be in Switzerland as well: eight men, four women and UW men's coach Michael Callahan, who also heads up the U.S. U-23 team.

Colorado

Some CU football news and notes for you, courtesy of BuffZone.com's Brian Howell. The biggest note: True freshman Jalen Sami will be out for the 2018 season with a torn ACL.

Arizona

Arizona Desert Swarm is doing a series of profiles on incoming freshmen for Adia Barnes' crew. This one is on Semaj Smith, a post player from Long Beach.

USC

Skip to the sixth paragraph in this one if you want to read some really nice things about former Trojan De'Anthony Melton in NBA Summer League play. Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle seems to like his game.

Oregon

More from Summer League, where former Duck Troy Brown has been dubbed an All-Vegas second-teamer.

UCLA

Rack 'em up, Zach Pettway. The first-year Bruin has received yet another postseason honor, this time a first-team freshman all-American nod by Baseball America.

Washington State

Ernie Kent and Co. will be part of the four-team field at the 2018 Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic in late December. The Cougs will join Drake, New Mexico State and San Diego at the Orleans Arena.

Utah

The Runnin' Utes have confirmed a home-and-home with the Minnesota Gophers for this season and next. Salt Lake Tribune's Kurt Kragthorpe notes that Utah will make the road trip this year in mid-November.

Oregon State

Beaver baseball fans: OSUBeavers.com is running a poll about top uniform combinations for this past season. Which one was your favorite?
