As the *official spokesperson of the Pac-12 Conference (*I am not the official spokesperson of the Pac-12 Conference), I'd like to give a very warm welcome to the many signees that joined the Conference of Champions on Wednesday. We are stoked to have every last one of you. 

That said, I have to give an extra-special shoutout to the new signees coming from abroad. There are four of them from the first day of the Early Signing Period, all bringing their own international flavor:

Keeping with one of the greatest traditions in Salt Lake City, Utah has landed a punter from Australia. YES. His name is Ben Lennon and he hails from Viewbank, which is in the immediate vicinity of Melbourne. Lennon played four years of Australian rules football and will have four years of eligibility for the Utes. Long live the Australian punter pipeline!

Coming all the way from Volders, Austria, is Colorado signee Valentin Senn. He is the No. 1 prospect from his home country and the No. 2 prospect in all of Europe. Sounds like the Buffs are getting, ahem, a boulder in the trenches. Now, can anybody recommend a good Wiener schnitzel on Pearl Street?

Simon Sandberg is a fellow European, hailing from Karlstad, Sweden. But the Oregon State signee's trek won't be quite as long as Senn's: The defensive tackle most recently played at City College of San Francisco, where he contributed 20 tackles – including eight for a loss – this season. Last but certainly not least, Eddie Siaumau is leaving Leone, American Samoa, and taking his talents to Tucson. The linebacker signed with Kevin Sumlin's Wildcats on Wednesday and is thought to be one of the more underrated additions to Arizona's 2019 class. That's because he possesses the skill set of a safety, which he played in high school, but is growing into the body of a linebacker.
