2018 Football Early Signing Period: Patrick Herbert joins big brother Justin at Oregon
Oregon’s 2019 class is from all over the country, from California to Tennessee to Florida. In fact, only one player announced during the wee hours of the Early Signing Period is actually from Oregon.
But that one player is a pretty big one: Patrick Herbert, little brother of the big man on campus, quarterback Justin Herbert.

Now, the family tie is awesome. I’m a sucker for that stuff. But, Ducks fans, it isn’t home cookin’ that got Patrick in this signing class. The tight end is the second-ranked recruit in the state and just one of two players in Oregon to earn a four-star ranking. (Even Justin didn’t get four stars, but we’re sure Patrick won’t hold that over his head forever and ever.)
Now, one question remains: With the elder Herbert pondering the 2019 NFL Draft, will we see the brothers on the field together next year?
Always a good time when these guys are around! Thanks for stopping by today! #GoDucks pic.twitter.com/kKrUa0gngl
