Pac-12 Men's Basketball secured four bids to the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship on Sunday. Regular-season champion ARIZONA was rewarded with a No. 2 seed for the second consecutive year and was joined in the field by No. 7 seed WASHINGTON STATE, No. 10 seed COLORADO and 11th-seeded Pac-12 Tournament champion OREGON.

It marks the eighth time in the past 11 postseasons that the Pac-12 landed four-or-more teams in the Big Dance.

In total, five Pac-12 programs will participate in the postseason with four NCAA berths (Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington State) and an NIT bid (Utah).

West Region (Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, Calif.)
No. 2 Arizona vs. No. 15 Long Beach State - Salt Lake City, Utah - Thurs., March 21 - 11:00 a.m. PT (TBS)

  • ARIZONA (25-8) was the No. 6 overall national seed to earn the No. 2 seed slot in the West Region to be played in Los Angeles. The Wildcats will open play Thursday in Salt Lake City, Utah, against No. 15 Long Beach State, with the winner advancing to face No. 7 Dayton or No. 10 Nevada.
    • Head coach Tommy Lloyd has led the Wildcats to the NCAA Tournament in each of his three seasons on the sideline, all at either a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, joining Lute Olson from 1989-91 as the only Arizona coaches to accomplish that feat. The last Pac-12 program to earn three consecutive top-2 seeds was UCLA from 2006-08.

East Region (TD Garden, Boston, Mass.)
No. 7 Washington State vs. No. 10 Drake - Omaha, Neb. - Thurs., March 21 - 7:05 p.m. PT (TruTV)

  • WASHINGTON STATE (24-9), which garnered its first NCAA berth since 2008, was placed in the East Region and will face No. 10 Drake in the First Round in Omaha, Neb., on Thursday. The Cougars would face No. 2 Iowa State or No. 15 South Dakota State in the Second Round.
    • It is 2024 John R. Wooden Pac-12 Coach of the Year Kyle Smith's seventh career postseason berth, but his first NCAA Tournament appearance in 14 seasons as a Division I head coach (1 NCAA, 2 NIT, 2 CBI, 2 CIT).

South Region (American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas)
No. 10 Colorado vs. No. 10 Boise State - Dayton, Ohio - Wed., March 20 - 6:10 p.m. PT (TruTV)
No. 10 Colorado/Boise State vs. No. 7 Florida - Indianapolis, Ind. - Fri., March 22 - 1:30 p.m. PT (TBS) (if necessary)

  • COLORADO (24-10) was placed in the South Region, opening play against fellow No. 10 seed Boise State in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio, on Wed., March 20 (6:10 p.m. PT, truTV). Should the Buffaloes advance, they will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., to face No. 7 Florida on Friday, with that winner playing either No. 2 Marquette or No. 15 Western Kentucky.
    • It's Colorado's 16th NCAAs appearance in program history, with Tad Boyle accounting for a school-record six trips during his 14-year tenure in Boulder. It also marks the Buffaloes' 12th postseason appearance (6 NCAA, 5 NIT, 1 CBI) under Boyle.

Midwest Region (Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, Mich.)
No. 11 Oregon vs. No. 6 South Carolina - Pittsburgh, Pa. - Thurs., March 21 - 1:00 p.m. PT (TNT)

  • Coming off its improbable run to the Pac-12 Tournament championship on Saturday, OREGON (23-11) was placed into the field as a No. 11 seed to face sixth-seeded South Carolina on Thursday in Pittsburgh. The Ducks would face either No. 3 Creighton or No. 14 Akron on Saturday.
    • It marks the Ducks' 13th consecutive postseason bid under head coach Dana Altman (8 NCAA, 4 NIT, 1 CBI). Oregon similarly stole the Pac-12's automatic bid in 2019 and eventually advanced to the Sweet 16 as a double-digit seed (No. 12).

Additionally, UTAH (19-14) received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) for its first postseason bid since reaching the NIT title game in 2018.

  • Ranked 48th in the NET on Sunday to claim an auto bid out of the Pac-12, the Runnin' Utes received a No. 2 seed and will host UC Irvine on Tues., March 19 at 8:00 p.m. PT on ESPN2. Should it advance, Utah would host either Iowa or Kansas State in the Second Round.
