SEATTLE – No. 26 women's tennis will play its final Pac-12 match on Friday as they travel to Pullman for the Boeing Apple Cup Series.

The Huskies (15-9, 4-5 Pac-12) visit the Cougars after dropping back-to-back matches against top-10 opponents in No. 9 Cal and No. 3 Stanford.

HUSKIES IN THE RANKINGS

The No. 26 Dawgs' Alexia Jacobs and Astrid Olsen are in the singles and doubles rankings this week. Olsen is notched at 94, her highest ranking of the season, and Jacobs is tabbed at 103.

The number one doubles pair is No. 44 in the rankings, the highest Olsen/Jacobs have been tabbed this season, after a win over the 22nd-ranked Viller Moeller/Mushika pair from Cal on Friday.

Olsen's ranking comes after an impressive, lengthy win in three sets over then-No. 24 Yepifanova from Stanford on Senior Day on Sunday.

Jacobs' brought the nation's No. 10 player to three sets on Sunday as well, narrowly losing to the Cardinal's Connie Ma.

THE COMPETITION – WASHINGTON STATE

The Cougs (10-10, 1-8 in Pac-12) are on a five-match losing streak after also losing last weekend to Stanford and Cal. Washington's state sole conference win came in a 4-2 victory over Colorado on March 17.

The Cougs are not currently ranked and don't have any singles or doubles players in the ITA rankings.
