LAST TIME OUT

Oregon State had an outstanding trip to California, securing five new top-50 national marks and eight regional qualifying performances. Competing at four meets, they achieved 14 new OSU top-10 marks and 31 personal bests.

Standout performances included Kate Sorensen's record-breaking run of 57.38 in the 400 hurdles, earning her the top spot in meet and OSU records and 17th nationally. Adael Scatena's strong showings in both hurdles events earned her number two in the school record books, right behind Sorensen in the 400 with a time of 58.58. Scatena finished the weekend racing a 13.72 in the 100 hurdles, putting her second in Oregon State history.

In field events, Dede Norman made her mark in the high jump. The sophomore cleared 1.79m/5-10.5, the sixth-best mark all-time and a likely regional qualifier. Long-jumper Delaney Bahn likely punched her regional ticket with a 6.16m/20-2.5 leap. It was a PB for the redshirt junior, improving the no. 2 mark in school history.

Molly Latincsics posted a 34:24.52 in her first-ever 10,000 meters, the third-best mark all-time for a Beaver. Kate Laurent improved OSU's no. 8 5K with a 16:22.12 and Maya Baechler continued her strong freshman campaign with a PB of 4:29.58 in the 1,500 meters.

Moersdorf led the charge on the weekend with a 5,593-point performance in the heptathlon. She earned the no. 3 spot all-time at OSU in the 100m hurdles and the no. 10 high jump mark at 1.73m/5-8. Her 2:15.45 800 meters and 25.28 200 meters were also PBs.
