OJAI, Calif. – The Stanford Cardinal was crowned the 2024 Pac-12 Women’s Tennis Tournament champions on Saturday, winning the team competition over California at Libbey Park in Ojai, Calif.

It’s the sixth league tournament title for Stanford since the team format was introduced on the women’s side in 2017. It’s also the third-straight championship victory for the Cardinal at the conference tournament in Ojai and sixth Stanford win out of seven in the tournament’s history.

No. 2-seed Stanford started off strong with a win in doubles, earning the initial point through victories from Connie Ma/Alexandra Yepifanova on Court 1 (6-2) and Katherine Hui/Valencia Xu on Court 3 (6-4). It was a strong bounceback for the Cardinal after losing the doubles point in its semifinal matchup over USC on Friday.

Angelica Blake led the way for the Cardinal in singles, making quick work of Cal’s Hannah Viller Moeller with a 6-0, 6-1 victory on Court 1. Alexadra Yepifanova followed with a 6-3, 6-1 win on Court 3 before Connie Ma clinched the team title for Stanford with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Valentina Ivanov on Court 2.

The Cardinal dispatched No. 7-seed Arizona (4-0) and No. 3-seed USC (4-2) en route to the tournament crown.
