Sun Devil Track & Field Closes Regular Season with Penn Relays, Desert Heat Classic

TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Track & Field wrapped its final weekend of the regular season, as Kiara Lee paced the way at the Penn Relays with a personal record in the triple jump, while Brandon Lloyd reached a new career-high of his own in the shot put at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson.

Across three days at the esteemed Penn Relays, Lee grabbed an individual title for the Sun Devils with her winning mark of 13.01m in the triple jump. Not only did she set a new personal-best, Lee also improved on her standing as the third-best triple jumper in Women's team Outdoor history, trailing Christina Warren (13.35m/2023) and Keyasia Tibbs (13.22/2017).

Lee was one of five Sun Devils to add top-eight individual performances at University of Penn's Franklin Field. Freshman Saira Prince had a pair of top-seven finishes in both the 400m hurdles and 100m hurdles, while Adriana Tatum took fourth in the 100m.

Lloyd provided the fireworks for the Sun Devils in Tucson at Drachman Stadium, setting a new personal record in the shot put en route to two top-four finishes.
