Men’s Track Athlete of the Week: David Foster, Jr., California (Katy, Texas)

• Helped lead Cal to a 114-48 win in the Big Meet over Stanford last week, the largest margin of victory for the Golden Bears since 1992.
• Picked up wins in the 100m (10.25) and 200m (21.16), including a PR performance in the 200m. 
• Anchored Cal’s 4x100m relay squad to win and a time of 39.46.

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week: Jasmine Jones, Sr., USC (Atlanta, Ga.)

• Finished second in the 100m hurdles and won the 400m hurdles at the Oxy Invite over the weekend. 
• Was the top collegian in the 100m hurdles, placing second to Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.
• Jones crossed with a time of 12.86 in the 100H, moving into 10th place in the NCAA this year in the event. She posted a time of 56.38 to win the 400mH competition. 
• She’s one of only two women in the country (Shani’a Bellamy, LSU) to own top-10 national marks in both the 100H and 400H.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week: Rowan Hamilton, 6th, California (Chilliwack, B.C.)

• Won the men’s hammer throw competition in Cal’s Big Meet victory over Stanford.
• Posted a mark of 74.46m (244-3), eclipsing the previous meet record that had stood since 1995 by over four meters. 
• Leads the Pac-12 in the hammer with his toss of 77.16m (253-2) set at the Mt. SAC Relays back in April.

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week: Jasmine Blair, 5th, California (Wilseyville, Calif.)

• Won the women’s discus and hammer throw competitions at the Big Meet against Stanford last week. 
• Earned her third-straight PR in the discus, going 59.60m (195-6) for the second-best performance in program history. 
• Notched a season-best mark of 60.47m (198-5) in the hammer.
