BOULDER, Colo. – Championship season begins this weekend for Arizona Track and Field as they head to Boulder, Colo., for the final Pac-12 Championships. The meet is hosted by Colorado this year at Potts Field and is a three-day event lasting from Friday to Sunday.

The complete meet schedule can be found here and live results can be found here. The competition can also be streamed on the Pac-12 Network here.

"I'm excited and saddened that this is our last Pac-12 Championships," said Head Coach Fred Harvey. "It's the most competitive conference in the country and we are peaking at the right time as a team. We need to compete like we've been doing all season, and we will do great. I'm very proud of the coaches and how they have prepared our athletes for this moment."

Last weekend, Wildcat throwers competed at the Tucson Throws Elite Classic at Drachman Stadium. The rest of the team last competed at the Desert Heat Classic on April 27 at Drachman Stadium. The Wildcats have succeeded as a team and individuals this outdoor season. Three Arizona records have been broken, highlighted by Trayvion White-Austin breaking Michael Bates' 33-year-old school record in the 100m with a time of 10.14. Two freshman records have also fallen, with Sydnie Vanek jumping 21-5.5 (6.54m) in the long jump and Jade Brown clocking 11.53 in the 100m.

Additionally, three Wildcats have earned Pac-12 Weekly Award honors: Sir Jonathan Sims, Yan Vazquez, and White-Austin. In the record books, 23 new top 10 all-time marks have been posted across running and field events. 26 Wildcats have also notched first-place finishes during the outdoor season.

In the most recent edition of the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings, the Arizona Men ranked fifth in the West Region and the Arizona Women ranked eighth. In the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings, six event groups found themselves ranked in the top 25: women's 400m hurdles (#3), women's long jump (#3), men's long jump (#10), men's 200m (#15), men's 100m (#20), and women's 400m (#24).

At last year's Pac-12 Championships, the Arizona Men placed fifth and the Arizona Women finished 10th. Returners who posted podium finishes include Jared O'Riley who won the javelin, Reinaldo Rodrigues who finished third in the long jump, and Trayvion White-Austin who finished third in the 200m.

A meet recap will be posted here detailing the competition results. Live updates will also be posted to @ArizonaTrack on X.

Entering the competition, the Wildcats have 23 individuals and four relay teams who rank in the top 10 in the conference. Emma Gates and Sydnie Vanek lead the Pac-12 in the women's high jump and long jump. The complete Pac-12 rankings can be found here.
