After getting off to a fast start, the Bruins couldn't contain UConn, falling to the Huskies 86-71 Saturday afternoon in Bridgeport, Connecticut during the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Jordin Canada led the Bruins with 20 points, while senior Kari Korver tied a UCLA record for career 3-pointers (256) with Lisa Willis.
