Pac-12 Networks announces 2022 fall television lineup for men’s & women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, field hockey, men’s water polo and men’s & women’s cross country

SAN FRANCISCO - The 2022 fall season is on the horizon and Pac-12 Networks is slated to produce a robust lineup of contests across the Conference of Champions in men’s & women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, field hockey, men’s water polo and men’s and women’s cross country.

PROGRAMMING/SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS

MEN’S SOCCER

  • Pac-12 Networks features a non-conference showdown between UCLA and Virginia Tech on Sunday, August 28. Both teams advanced to the second round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament and finished the year as top-25 programs.
  • Washington and Oregon State are set to square off twice in the 2022 regular season, with the first matchup scheduled for Friday, October 21 in Corvallis. The Huskies advanced to their first-ever NCAA College Cup final in 2021 while the Beavers earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament after winning their first-ever outright Pac-12 title. 
  • A total of 36 men’s soccer games featuring Pac-12 programs or an affiliate member institution are scheduled for broadcast on Pac-12 Networks in 2022.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

  • Colorado hosts Weber State on Thursday, August 18 in the first athletic event of the 2022-23 athletic year.
  • Oregon is set to welcome 2021 National Semifinalist, Santa Clara, to Eugene on Thursday, September 8, a match slated to air on Pac-12 Networks.
  • Stanford and defending Pac-12 champion, UCLA, meet on Friday, October 14. It’s a rematch of the 2017 NCAA championship match which saw the Cardinal prevail, 3-2, over the Bruins.   
  • Pac-12 Networks is set to broadcast 70 women’s soccer matches in 2022, with each Pac-12 program appearing live at least six times this season. 

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

  • Stanford, winner of three of the last six NCAA volleyball titles, faces off against 2021 National Semifinalist, Louisville, on Sunday, September 18
  • The first iteration of the 2022 Apple Cup between Washington State and two-time defending Pac-12 champion, Washington, is slated for Wednesday, September 21.
  • Pac-12 Networks features a matchup between Utah and UCLA on Sunday, October 30 from Salt Lake City. Both programs advanced to the 2021 NCAA Tournament and finished the season as top-20 national squads. 
  • A total of 77 women’s volleyball matches are slated to air on Pac-12 Networks, featuring each Pac-12 team at least 10 times. 

FIELD HOCKEY

  • Pac-12 Networks is set to broadcast a marquee matchup between Stanford and four-time defending national champion, North Carolina, on Sunday, Sept. 11.
  • The Big Game between California and Stanford is set to air on Friday, October 14.

MEN’S WATER POLO

  • The last two NCAA men’s water polo champions (California - 2021, UCLA - 2020) square off on Pac-12 Networks on Saturday, October 29 from Spieker Aquatics Center in Los Angeles.
  • UCLA hosts 2018 national champion and crosstown rival, USC, on Friday, November 11.

MEN’S & WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY

  • The Pac-12 Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships return to Pac-12 Networks on Friday, October 28 in Los Angeles. Colorado swept the men’s and women’s team titles at the 2021 Conference Meet.
