The 2022 MLB Draft joins All-Star week festivities for a second straight year, opening up first-round selections on Sunday, July 17th at 4 p.m. PT on ESPN.

Per MLB.com, Arizona’s sophomore catcher Daniel Susac is the top prospect coming out of the Pac-12 this year, projected to be selected within the top 15 picks.

To follow Susac out of the Pac-12 will likely be Cal's Dylan Beavers. The junior outfielder is considered to be a top-25 prospect in this year's draft.

Stanford’s Brock Jones and Oregon State’s Cooper Hjerpe look to also accomplish their Big League aspirations by being projected late first-round draft picks – rounding out the Pac-12 stars set to be selected early on in the 2022 MLB Draft.

Cooper Hjerpe (Oregon State) - Pos: LHP / Height: 6’3” / Weight: 200 lbs. / Age: 21

Oregon State’s ace led the nation with 161 strikeouts and his 11 wins were only one shy of tying the national lead. Hjerpe held opponents to a .180 batting average and finished 11-2 with a 2.53 ERA.
