Pac-12 Networks provides most comprehensive studio coverage ever surrounding women’s basketball with league play beginning this weekend

SAN FRANCISCO - Top Pac-12 men’s and women’s hoops is on deck this weekend, with action tipping off on Thursday, Dec. 29 and airing into the new year as part of the most comprehensive basketball studio coverage ever on Pac-12 Networks.
 
The 2022-23 hoops season on Pac-12 Networks includes 146 men’s and a record 132 women’s basketball games as well as in-depth studio programming surrounding all league contests for both sports beginning this weekend, the most studio analysis ever of Pac-12 women’s basketball.
 
WBB: Arizona State at No. 18 Arizona
Thursday, Dec. 29 at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network with Cindy Brunson and Mary Murphy
No. 18 Arizona opens up league play against rival Arizona State, with the Wildcats riding a three-game win streak which included a decisive 75-54 win over then-No. 18 Baylor in the Pac-12 Coast-to-Coast Challenge. The Sun Devils own a 66-37 record against their rivals, including victories in two of the last three contests.
 
WBB: No. 11 Utah at Washington State

The No. 11 Utes, who sit atop the Pac-12 standings in which every team is above .500, puts their undefeated record on the line against Washington State. The Cougars wrapped up nonconference action with victories in seven of their last eight games, and junior guard Charlisse Leger-Walker paces the league with 21.1 points per game. Utah’s 12-0 record is tied for the best start ever for the Utes, and its No. 11 ranking ties the best ranking in program history.
 
WBB: No. 10 UCLA at No. 17 Oregon

No. 10 UCLA visits No. 17 Oregon in a top-25 showdown. The Bruins are 2-1 on the road this season, with their lone setback coming against top-ranked South Carolina, and the 12-1 start is the best since 2019-20 when they won 16-straight to open the campaign. Oregon’s clash with UCLA will be its third-consecutive game against a ranked team. The Ducks are undefeated at Matthew Knight Arena this season, including 1-0 in league play.
 
WBB: Arizona State at No. 2 Stanford
Saturday, Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Arizona with Kevin Danna and Tammy Blackburn
 
Red-hot No. 2 Stanford continues its homestand against Arizona State, who will be playing back-to-back top-25 teams. The Cardinal topped California last weekend for its 23rd-straight conference-opening victory.
 
MBB: No. 11 UCLA at Washington

No. 11 UCLA kicks off the new year against Washington in a key Pac-12 men’s basketball contest. Washington’s Braxton Meah ranks second in the conference with a 68.3 field goal percentage, and has scored in double figures in four of his last six games. The Bruins just notched its eighth-straight win of the season in an 81-54 win over UC Davis. Jaylen Clark, Tyger Campbell and Jaime Jaquez Jr. all reached double-digit scoring, with Clark dropping in a game-high 18.

Women’s Basketball Postgame” debuts on Monday, Jan. 9 at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT, giving fans exclusive analysis and discussion of Pac-12 women’s basketball through the 2023 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament. Rotating talent for the show includes Adamson, Monique Billings, Jordan Ligons Robinson, Mary Murphy, Angela Taylor, Turner Thorne and Elise Woodward.
