Pac-12 Men's Golfers of the Week (9/12/23): Preston Summerhays, ARIZONA STATE (Jr., Scottsdale, Ariz.) & Eric Lee, CALIFORNIA (Fr., Fullerton, Calif.)
- Summerhays won medalist honors for the second time in his past five collegiate events, carding a 5-under-par 211 (72-67-72) to tie atop the leaderboard at the Sahalee Players Championship. He outlasted Illinois' Max Herendeen in a playoff to claim the tourney title.
- Competing as an individual in his collegiate debut, Lee became the first California freshman to win a tournament title in nine seasons (KK Limbhasut 2015 Aggie Invitational) with co-medalist honors at the Marquette Invitational, shooting 3-under 213 (71-70-72).
- Summerhays and the Sun Devils also finished second in their 12-team field that featured nine teams ranked in Golfweek's preseason top 30.
- Summerhays' victory secured a spot in this week's PGA Tour stop at the Fortinet Championship in Napa, Calif.
- The second career Pac-12 weekly honor for Summerhays (4/18/23), first for Lee.
