Coming off a national title in the 2018-19 season, Cal men's swimming head coach Dave Durden gets mic'd up for a practice and discusses the value in having veteran athletes, like three-time Olympian Nathan Adrian (a Cal alum), training with his team. Durden – who will serve as the head men's coach of the United States' Olympic swim team in Tokyo next year – also breaks down the way that training changes in the year leading up to an Olympics: "It's a little more individualized," he says. "Now we're trying to balance out our emotion to an NCAA title as well as helping our guys advance to the U.S. Olympic Team."
