No. 1 Stanford women's basketball advances to its first National Championship game since 2010 after defeating No. 1 South Carolina 66-65 in Final Four action on Friday, Apr. 2 in San Antonio. During the 2021 NCAA tournament, the Cardinal have made 55 threes, passing the 2015 UConn team (54) for the most three-pointers made by a team in a single NCAA tournament. Haley Jones (24) and Lexie Hull (18) combined for 42 points, while Hull also set a new career-high for rebounds with 13. Stanford will face the winner of No. 1 Connecticut and No. 3 Arizona on Sunday, Apr. 4 in the National Championship game.
