UCLA men's basketball came up short in a thrilling against Gonzaga 79-76 in the Sweet 16 on the 2023 NCAA Tournament in Las Vegas on March 23, 2023. Jamie Jaquez Jr. had a team-high 29 points for the Bruins and added 11 rebounds. Amari Bailey and Tyger Campbell combined for 33 points as well. UCLA was without Jaylen Clark and Adem Bona.
