Who: Washington at Washington State

When: 7 p.m. PT/8 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Washington with Ann Schatz and Krista Blunk

Buckle up, #Pac12WSOC fans. This year's final installment of #ThursdayGoals features the 26th edition of the Washington-Washington State matchup on the pitch. A rivalry week unlike any other, your venti PSL versus a tin of Cougar Gold. Start your 'Go Cougs' and 'Bow Down' chants now, fanbases.

Unlike the rivalry on the gridiron, the soccer series has historically gone to the Cougs. Washington State is 12-7-6 in the series and boasts a 7-2-4 record at home. The Huskies are looking for their first win over the Cougs since 2003, and their first win on the Palouse since 1996.

On the home team: Washington State Cougars (7-9-2, 2-7-1 Pac-12)
The Cougars are looking for their third Pac-12 win under the direction of second year head coach Todd Shulenberger. WSU's two conference wins came thanks to second-half goals versus Arizona State and Oregon State, both 2-1 victories. WSU ranks second in the Pac-12 in shots, averaging a staggering 17.39 shots per game. They will be a threat in the 18' for the Huskies as well, ranking third in the league with 5.78 corners per game.

Cougars to Watch:
Morgan Weaver, freshman forward – Weaver, the rookie hails from the other side of Snoqualmie Pass in University Place, Washington. The forward has netted eight goals this season to date, ranking ninth in the Pac-12.

Kaitlyn Johnson, senior forward – The veteran stalwart out of Torrance, California has seen the Cougs develop during her time on the Palouse. The striker has six assists under her belt so far in 2016, ranking third in the league. She became the first Cougar ever to record four assists in a single game, doing so against North Dakota State earlier this year.

Alysha Overland, sophomore forward – The do-it-all player for Washington State, Overland has tallied five goals and two assists so far. The sophomore transfer out of Community Colleges of Spokane scored the lone goal in the game to beat No. 13 Santa Clara

On the visitors: Washington Huskies (7-11-1, 2-8-0 Pac-12)
The Huskies are also looking for their third Pac-12 win, under the direction of the longest tenured head coach in the Pac-12, Lesle Gallimore (23rd year). Like the Cougs, UW's two league wins came by scores of 2-1, over Arizona and Oregon.

Huskies to Watch:

Shannon Simon, junior forward/midfielder – Simon paces the Dawgs with seven goals this season. The captain for this year's Husky squad has scored three of her seven goals coming from penalty kicks.

Becca Schoales, junior forward – The Cougars will look to stop Schoales, as she has five goals this year, and three of those have come as game winners.

Defensive Duo: Dominique Bond-Flasza (junior), Havana McElvaine (senior) – The defensive upperclassmen have started every game for the Huskies in 2016 and have helped the Dawgs maintain a 1.51 goals against average mark this year.
