Here’s a Pac-12 Networks feature on Jordin Canada’s “fearless” path to the WNBA Draft. ESPN’s Mechelle Voepel has Canada going fifth overall to the Seattle Storm in her latest mock draft (the actual draft is Thursday, and yours truly will have a live recap for you on Pac-12.com).

Colorado

Former Colorado men’s basketball player George King is off to the Portsmouth Invitational this weekend in Virginia, a showcase for 64 of the best seniors in college basketball (BuffZone.com). Derrick White’s strong showing at Portsmouth was a big reason why he was a first-round draft pick.

Washington

The Seattle Times columnist Larry Stone opines that Washington AD Jen Cohen deserves a lot of credit for the Huskies’ deal with adidas that will bring the school $119 million over 10 years starting in 2019. She has also done a lot of other good stuff, like hiring Mike Hopkins as men’s basketball coach and turning a projected surplus for 2018.

Stanford

Stanford baseball southpaw Kris Bubic was named to the Golden Spikes midseason watch list, USA Baseball announced Tuesday. Bubic is 5-0 with a team-leading 1.94 ERA, and the Cardinal has won each of Bubic’s last 15 starts dating back to April 14, 2017. Bubic is one of seven Pac-12 pitchers on the midseason list.

California

Cal baseball hit five home runs in an 8-7 win over USF Tuesday in Berkeley (Pac-12 Networks recap). The Golden Bears erased a 5-0 hole for the comeback triumph.

Oregon

Austin Meek of The Register-Guard features Oregon golfer Norman Xiong, who has won three straight tournaments. The Guam native is No. 4 on the world amateur list.

Utah

Trent Wood of the Deseret News writes that Utah football is making “real progress” as spring practice is coming to a close.

Washington State

Here’s video of Washington State wide receiver Easop Winston talking with the media after practice on Tuesday. Shout out to the former Serra Padre for making it to the Palouse after going the Juco route. He’s had a pretty baller spring as well for the Cougs.
