Madison Kocian notches first 10 since 2017 as No. 2 UCLA women's gymnastics cruises past No. 19 Arizona State before 10,000+ at Pauley Pavilion
For UCLA women's gymnastics, there's simply no place like Pauley Pavilion — especially when The Den is front and center. And there's 10,270 fans in attendance.
The Bruins returned home on Monday, a week after Katelyn Ohashi's floor routine in Anaheim captured an audience around the globe with more than 90 million views. No. 2 UCLA cruised to a 197.775-196.125 victory over No. 19 Arizona State in the Pac-12 opener for both teams.
Madison Kocian highlighted the action with a perfect 10 on uneven bars, her first 10.0 since Feb. 2017. It marks her second career perfect 10. Both have come on bars.
As soon as she stuck the landing, Kocian was swarmed by her UCLA teammates:
@MadisonKocian was flawless on the uneven bars.
