But wait- there’s more, because top-seeded Stanford women’s soccer can bolster its legacy with an NCAA title as it starts College Cup play Friday against South Carolina, writes Vytas Mazeika of The San Jose Mercury News.
Bruce Feldman is reporting that Tennessee is interested in hiring Mike Leach as its new football coach. A meeting between Leach and then-Tennessee AD John Currie (he was fired Friday morning) went “very well,” according to Feldman. However, Vince Grippi of The Spokesman-Review doesn’t believe Leach will go to Tennessee.
