SAN FRANCISCO - This Sunday, May 9, Pac-12 Networks is bringing fans feel-good football stories from around the Conference of Champions with “Our Stories: Jackson He, Jedd Fisch and Big Game Dads,” presented by Pacific Premier Bank, debuting at 4 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network.
Arizona State running back Jackson He talks about moving to America in high school, how football helped him adapt to his new home and his journey as a walk-on with the Sun Devils. He also looks back on becoming the first Chinese-born player in FBS history to score a touchdown, and what it’s like being a role model to others.
“I wasn’t expecting that, to me it was just a touchdown,” said He. “This is something that I can spread out more to the people that want to play football. I feel like this is more than me, this is more than just myself. A lot of people have the ability, they have the potential… I definitely would love to be the role model for them.”

New Arizona head football coach Jedd Fisch takes fans behind the scenes at practice and the Arizona Spring Game, which featured big plays on the field and the return of iconic alumni, including Tedy Bruschi and Rob Gronkowski. Fisch also shares what it’s been like at his new job at the helm of the Arizona football program and what to expect from the Wildcats.
“I feel like Jedd is on the right path right now, getting everyone to come back, all the players to come back, all the alumni to come back,” said Gronkowski. “This program is going in the right direction and that’s what needs to happen.”
Pac-12 Networks reflects back on the 2019 Big Game between Stanford and California, in which the Golden Bears won The Axe for the first time in 10 years. Willie Shaw, father of Stanford head coach David Shaw, and Dave Wilcox, father of California head coach Justin Wilcox and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, sit down with host Ashley Adamson to talk about their sons facing off in the legendary rivalry. Shaw and Wilcox also reminisce on their fathers’ legacies on the gridiron and what they’ve learned from their mentors.
“For any child, knowing that your parents care about you and that you’re going through a difficult time, they’re not going to give you the answers, but they’re going to give you the support that you need,” said Shaw. “They’re going to trust how they raised you, trust that you’ve become the person that they want you to become, and they’re going to give you enough space to be that person but at the same time say, we still got you and we still care about you, and we’re still there for you no matter what.”
