SAN FRANCISCO - The bracket for the 2022 Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament is set with STANFORD claiming the No. 1 seed via tiebreaker over regular-season co-champion and No. 2 seed USC. No. 3 seed ARIZONA STATE will host the tournament for the first time at Sun Devil Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium in Tempe, Ariz., from May 4-7, with tickets now on sale at Pac-12.com/tickets.

All five matches of the 2022 Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament are slated to be broadcast on Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Now app.

No. 21 nationally ranked Stanford (10-6) and No. 17 USC (12-3) both finished atop the Pac-12 standings at 8-2 to share the regular-season crown, but the Cardinal claimed the top seed by virtue of a pair of head-to-head victories over the Trojans. Stanford (2018, 2021) and USC (2019) have combined to capture all three previous Pac-12 Tournament titles.

No. 23 Arizona State (9-7) posted its most league wins in program history in going 7-3 in Pac-12 play, highlighted by the program's first-ever victory over Stanford (18-11) in Tempe on April 8.

No. 4 seed COLORADO (10-5, 5-5) has the second-most overall wins in the Conference, bolstered by a perfect 5-0 mark in non-conference play, and spent three weeks in the IWLCA Top 25 this season. The Buffaloes will be seeking their first Pac-12 Tournament title after reaching the title match in the prior three events.

OREGON (3-13, 1-9) and CALIFORNIA (2-15, 1-9) tied for fifth in the league standings and split their season series. The Ducks (-5.1) came away with the No. 5 seed by virtue of a better average goal differential (capped at 10 goals) in Conference contests compared to the sixth-seeded Golden Bears (-6.2).

The tournament champion will receive the Pac-12's automatic bid to the 29-team 2022 NCAA Tournament. With four teams currently inside the top 35 of the NCAA RPI (USC 18, Stanford 26, Arizona State 27, Colorado 35), the Conference will be seeking to match or better its high of three postseason bids in 2019.
