MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nishesh Basavareddy, So., Stanford (Carmel, Ind.)

• Earned a singles win and a pair of doubles victories as Stanford picked up team wins over then-No. 17 Arizona State (March 29) and then-No. 7 Arizona (March 30).
• Court one singles match against Arizona State was unfinished, but added a 6-2 doubles win to contribute to the 4-0 sweep of the Sun Devils.
• Outlasted No. 14 Colton Smith of Arizona in three sets, 7-6(10), 2-6, 6-3. 
• Also contributed a 6-1 doubles win on court one in the 4-3 team win over the Wildcats.
• Earns his conference-leading third Player of the Week honor this season. 
• He becomes the first Pac-12 men's student-athlete to earn a trio of weekly honors in a season since Washington's Clement Chidekh in 2022 and first Stanford man to do so since Bradley Klahn in 2009.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kimmi Hance, Jr., UCLA (Torrance, Calif.)

• Helped lead the Bruins to team wins over San Francisco (March 26) and then-No. 5 Stanford (March 31) on UCLA’s trip to the Bay Area. 
• Earned a singles win over No. 38 Hannah Miller of California (March 30) on court two, taking the victory, 7-6(4), 6-3 in straight sets.
• Outlasted Stanford’s No. 13 Connie Ma, 6-4, 6-7(3), 7-6(5), to clinch the Bruins’ dual match victory over the No. 5 Cardinal after four and a half hours of dual match time.
• Also teamed with Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer to secure a doubles win on court two against No. 67 Angelica Blake/Alexis Blokhina of Stanford.  
• It’s UCLA’s league-leading fifth Player of the Week award this season, with teammate Tian Fangran earning four weekly honors to her credit. 
• The Bruins' five weekly honors this season are the most since by a Pac-12 program the UCLA women also secured five weekly awards during the 2021 season.
