MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Spencer Johnson, Fr., UCLA (Ladera Ranch, Calif.)

• Earned a singles and doubles win in UCLA’s team victory over No. 19 Stanford over the weekend. 
• Knocked off No. 47 Samir Banerjee in three sets, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(3), kicking off a UCLA surge after a 3-1 team deficit to that point. 
• Teamed with Emon Van Loben Sels on court two to secure a 7-6(2) doubles win with against No. 75 Banerjee/Nishesh Basavareddy. 
• Johnson has won six-straight singles decisions, including five over nationally-ranked opponents.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Elise Wagle, Jr., UCLA (Niskayuna, N.Y.)

• Went undefeated in singles and doubles across UCLA’s team wins over No. 7 Pepperdine and No. 67 Oregon. 
• Clinched UCLA’s win over Pepperdine, earning a hard-fought singles victory 5-7, 7-6(7), 6-3. Fended off two match points en route to the win over Pepperdine’s Anna Campana. 
• Also teamed with Tian Fangran to defeat No. 2 Savannah Broadus/Janice Tjen from Pepperdine in a 6-3 result. 
• Went on to earn a 6-3, 6-3 singles win over Jo-Yee Chan of Oregon, later pairing with Fangran once again to take down Chan and Sophie Luescher in doubles (7–5).
• Wagle’s weekly honor extends UCLA’s program record to seven Player of the Week awards this season.
