Oregon State Notables
• Aiden May is the Pac-12's Pitcher of the Week, which was announced on Monday. The junior struck out a career-high 14 batters in eight innings of scoreless week on Friday against Oregon. His lone hit allowed was a fifth-inning infield single.
• May's honor is the third of the year for the Beavers, following two awards for Jacob Kmatz.
• Travis Bazzana walked twice in Sunday's game and now has 156 for his career. He's tied with Adley Rutschman (2017-19) and Garret Forrester (2021-23) for the most in an Oregon State uniform.
• Bazzana is also one home run shy of equaling Jim Wilson's 21 in 1982 for the most in a single season.
• Oregon State's pitching staff struck out 44 batters in the series victory over the Ducks, which included back-to-back games with 15. The 15 strikeout games are tied for the team high this season.
• OSU also scattered just nine hits and walked six in 27 innings during the series. That's a WHIP of 0.56.
• OSU's team WHIP of 1.31 this season is the lowest in the Pac-12. The Beavers' 329 hits allowed mark the fewest in the league.
• Nelson Keljo set a career-long with 3 1/3 innings in relief in Sunday's finale. He also tied a season and career high with six strikeouts, which was originally set in the series against North Dakota State.
• Brady Kasper has two home runs in his last three games after totaling one in his first 17.
• OSU's 81 home runs this year are eight shy of tying the team's single-season record of 89 set last season.
• The Beavers play their next five straight games away from home. Eight of the Beavers' 11 remaining games during the regular season will be played away from Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
• The Beavers are 24-4 when scoring first.
