Two from Softball Earn Pac-12 Postseason Accolades

SAN FRANCISCO – Two from Sun Devil softball were honored when the Pac-12 announced its 2024 award winners and all-conference teams on Tuesday afternoon. Kelsey Hall was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference Third Team, while Libby Walsh was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team.

Hall finished the regular season batting .345, adding six home runs and 19 RBIs. The graduate outfielder from Sacramento, Calif., is tied for the team lead with 15 multi-hit games, and she twice had hitting streaks of at least five games. Entering the postseason, Hall ranks in the Pac-12 top 20 in nine statistical categories.

Walsh has played in every game this season for the Sun Devils, including starting the last 46 games at second base. She is among the team leaders with 20 RBIs while adding one double, one triple, and three home runs. Walsh has six multi-hit games and is third on the team with six multi-RBI outings.

Arizona State will begin postseason play on Wednesday when they face Oregon State in the first round of the Pac-12 Softball Tournament.
