No. 18 Colorado opened the 2024 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament, presented by Acura, with a big 79-30 win over Oregon on Wednesday, March 6 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Frida Formann led the scoring for CU with 17 points while Jaylyn Sherrod added 9 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. The 49-point margin of victory was the largest ever in the Pac-12 tournament, surpassing a 41-point margin of victory by Stanford over Cal in the 2005 quarterfinals.
