Pac-12 Men's Golfer of the Week (4/16/24): Preston Summerhays, ARIZONA STATE (Jr., Scottsdale, Ariz.)

  • Captured medalist honors at ASU's Thunderbird Collegiate for the second consecutive season, edging teammate Ryggs Johnston by two shots at 12-under-par 201 (67-66-68).
  • The individual title was his second of the season and fourth of his career; joins list of multiple Thunderbird winners that includes Sun Devil legends Jon Rahm and Phil Mickelson.
  • Started final round with three-shot lead but tied atop leaderboard through 10 holes, Summerhays played Nos. 12-16 in 4-under to surge to victory.
  • Powered host No. 4 Arizona State to a 28-shot victory at the Thunderbird over league rival UCLA and Oklahoma State.
  • Led 96-player field with 17 total birdies and carded only four bogeys-or-worse over 54 holes.
  • Third career Pac-12 weekly honor, second of season (4/18/23, 9/12/23).

Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Week (4/16/24): Catherine Park, USC (So., Irvine, Calif.)

  • Shared medalist honors at the Silverado Showdown, tying San Jose State's Kajsa Arwefjall at 7-under 209 (69-70-70).
  • Captured the Silverado title after finishing tied for second at the event in 2023; marked the second tourney title of her sophomore season after winning the Stanford Intercollegiate in October.
  • 1-of-7 golfers in the 88-player field to finish under par, the lone golfer to have all three rounds in the red.
  • Helped USC share team title with Northwestern, the Trojans' third event championship of the season.
  • Led the tournament with 16 total birdies and in par-5 scoring (-5, 4.58).
  • Second Pac-12 weekly honor of season (10/24/23).
